About the Founder
My name is Matthew Ciocci
Matt Ciocci started DIY Solar Company with a vision to transform the solar industry through honesty and dedication. After his service in the Marine Corps and gaining extensive experience in commercial and residential solar installations, Matt saw the need for a company that prioritizes ethical practices and customer satisfaction. He turned down ownership at another solar company due to their high pricing and lack of ethics, choosing instead to start his own movement focused on helping people and animals.

DIY Solar Company was established by Matthew Ciocci in Duxbury, MA, to address the growing demand for a trustworthy and reliable solar provider. Since 2016, Matthew has been involved in approximately 4,000 solar projects, encompassing installation, servicing, and design & engineering. Our master electrician, with experience in solar installations since 2007, has collaborated on projects for schools, government facilities, major airlines, and supermarkets. To date, the solar panels installed by DIY Solar Company have generated enough clean energy to offset $5 million in utility bills.
